Welcome to my little corner of the internet!! Let me share with you a little bit about myself and why I have decided to start this blog.
Believe it or not, one year ago today, I did not know how to cook. When I say that, I literally mean, I couldn’t cook ANYTHING. The first meal I ever attempted to cook was Thanksgiving 2015 with the help of my husband. I found some Paleo recipes online and was pretty astonished when it actually turned out to be edible food.
Ever since that day, I have become absolutely obsessed with cooking healthy food and creating new recipes, namely Primal/Paleo style recipes (read about why I have chosen to eat that way here HERE). I began spending all of my free time on Pinterest and various Paleo food blogs finding delicious recipes and tailoring them to my family’s needs and tastes. I was constantly posting food pictures on Facebook and Instagram, as well as texting them daily to my mother (sorry mom!), so I decided to start this blog as a little hobby. I have absolutely no food photography skills or fancy equipment (iPhone only) but I do have an intense passion for healthy food that I am hoping to share with you all.
I’m hoping that I can help inspire others who know that they can be feeding their families better options. I want to show you that it is possible to make delicious, beautiful, easy meals out of whole food ingredients. Health starts with and ends with what you fuel your body with, so why not choose the best possible options?
Follow me as I share recipes each week that will help improve your health and bring some joy into your life through preparing nourishing and delicious food. Please comment, share, and let me know any recipes you would like to see. Thanks for following along!
